He was motivated by the application of knowledge to real
world situations in USA and other advanced countries, and
upon his return to India in late 2000. He started
consulting work on various aspects of acoustic
applications.He also worked
as a teaching faculty teaching a course on
Electro-Acoustics at Nagpur
University and guided several students researching for
their doctorates. He continues to function as a Ph D
guide.
From 1998 to 2005 he also worked as the Chairman of the
Post-graduate Department of Electronics at Nagpur
University. Currently he teaches acoustics to
architectural students in two architectural colleges in
Nagpur.
His own current research is related to the acoustic study
of the old churches in India particularly in Goa region,
and design of digital electronic techniques for measuring
acoustic velocity and attenuation in condensed matter. |
